Fløw 03:57
Daylight crashing in her window all around me It's like the world could never ever shrink back down The past is slipping back to Right where you found it dude If only I could hear you say all the bullshit doesn't matter But you rarely do Yeah I never do too. And If only I could hear you say you fear these expectations Giving up on you Is the thing to do I've got to get in my flow I've got to get in my flow I've got to get in my flow I've got to get in my flow Tonight whips right through the buzz on the glowing tubes It's like the only time we've ever had is right now The past is slipping back to Right where you found it dude I want to finally hear you say all the bullshit doesn't matter You know it's true Yeah I know it's true too. I hadn't felt horripilation constellations on our shoulders. Only now I do And I know you do too. I've got to get in my flow I've got to get in my flow I've got to get in my flow I've got to get in my flow Flow flow flow flow flow flow So now you know They say I'm off the deep end But I'd say that it depends How I feel when I'm walking in the real Is how I'm meant to be I don't care what comes and goes I am swept out with the flow It's so clear we are nothing without fear And yet I feel so free. I’ve got to get in my... I’ve got to get in my...

Poppies 03:10
All the poppies In your veins She makes you bite the corner Never mind the taste No more money No more grace You'll have to see the magic man He's just another face on the wall He's got just what you need In his little magic bag You won't need to click your heels little boy To get back home To your home Run on Don't you cry It's alright You don't need to be somewhere over the rainbow You've got what you need at home I'll fix you up just right And tuck you in for the longest night

about

Petaluma was founded by multi-instrumentalists Rob Habel and Patrick Sweeney. Their debut album of the same name spawned from a place of sonic exploration that results in an altogether eclectic sound. Dark, ambient, and oddly calming, Petaluma's music is as impossible to resist as it is to pin down. With "Fløw / Poppies," the artists' unexpected dual-single release, their sound takes a hard left turn into surreal dream pop. From the upbeat bounce of Fløw, which conjures the attitudes of both Byrne and Bowie, to the heart-wrenching fever dream of Poppies, these two new tracks from Petaluma showcase the range of the California band's bold new vision.
